Crafts & Couture: A Fun and Fancy Luncheon a Smashing Success at Crabtree's Kittle House
Over 175 guests joined comedienne/author Amy Sedaris and couture designer Mary Adams at Crabtree's Kittle House in Chappaqua for a day brimming with color, frills and all things feminine at Crafts and Couture: A Fun and Fancy Luncheon on Monday, December 6. The afternoon, benefitting the Katonah Museum of Art featured a fashion show of Mary Adams' original creations for cocktail parties and weddings; Sedaris and Adams also discussed their respective books, Simple Times: Crafts for Poor People and The Party Dress Book: How to Sew the Best Dress in the Room. The event was co-chaired by Tara Coniaris and Jeanne Markel, both of Katonah and was sponsored by Sephora, Crabtree's Kittle House, The Cupcake Kitchen in Irvington, Fabu Fabrics in Bedford Hills, L&J Limo and Neiman Marcus in White Plains.
