Heather van Wolf at Pound Ridge Reservation Gallery in the Park
White Plains, NY - A one-person show titled "Van Wolf: Studies in Line and Character" by Pound Ridge artist Heather Van Wolf runs until April 30 2010 at the Gallery in the Park at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation in Cross River.
The exhibit features intricate and condensed sketches of urban scenes and landscapes, with an emphasis on the exploration of lines. A keen observer of urban life, Ms. Van Wolf captures the flavor of each city using both pen and brush, as well as oil on linen, offering a closer look and fascinating details of the subject.
25% of all sales of works from the show go toward Westchester Arts in Parks program. One half of all proceeds from sales of the HopeOffensive Collection go to both the Arts in Parks program and to the Central Asia Society to build schools in rural Pakistan and Afghnistan.
Heather Van Wolf is an award-winning artist and illustrator who has exhibited nationwide at The Society of Illustrators, the Salmagundi Club, and the New Yorker Magazine Gallery in Manhattan.
