2 Hit by Troopers' Cars in Mt. Kisco Listed in 'Good' Condition

The pair were severely injured last week.

The two Mount Kisco residents who were coincidentially struck by state troopers' vehicles last week are listed in good condition, according to a spokesman for Valhalla's Westchester Medical Center.

The definition of a good condition, said to the spokesman, includes having normal or stable vital signs, being conscious and having good indicators. They are also not in an intensive care unit.

The residents, 22-year-old Dolce Perez and 50-year-old Jeronimo Ardon Perez were each admitted to the medical center, which handles severe injuries. Dolce Perez was struck last Wednesday morning by Sgt. Joseph Crispino near the intersection of West Main Street, Maple Avenue and Kisco Avenue. Jeronimo Ardon Perez was hit at around 6:45 p.m. Thursday, while crossing North Bedford Road between Brookside Avenue and the American Legion hall, by investigator Gregory Panzarella.

Both troopers were on duty at the time, according to state police, and are part of a unit whose duties include providing security to state officials. The most prominent state official in the area is Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who lives in a New Castle residence just over Mount Kisco's western border. Neither Panzarella nor Crispino were assigned to duty for Cuomo during their incidents, according to State Police Maj. Michael Kopy, spokesman for the Troop K region that includes the village.
