Man, Woman Face Grand Larceny Charges in Connection to Stolen Wallet

Jamie M. Moore, 34, and Raymond Velez, 37, face charges of fourth-degree grand larceny charges for allegedly stealing a wallet containing several credit cards.

A Mt. Kisco woman and a Bronx man are accused of stealing a wallet, containing several credit cards, from a parked vehicle at the North County Bike Path in Yorktown, police said.

Jamie M. Moore, 34, and Raymond Velez, 37, were each charged with fourth-degree grand larceny charges, felonies, in connection to a Dec. 3, 2011 incident.

The victim reported to police his wallet had been stolen. Investigation, which included tracking the activity on said stolen credit cards, led police to the defendants.

Both Moore and Velez were transported to Yorktown police headquarters on Feb. 7 from the Westchester County Jail where they were being held on unrelated charges.

They were remanded back to jail in lieu of $7,500 and scheduled to appear at the Yorktown Town Court on Feb. 14.
