Mount Kisco will have its 20th annual St. Patrick's Day parade Saturday. Presented by the Ancient Order of the Hiberians, Frank H. Fox Division 16, the event will precede with a stand review performance at 1 p.m. The parade itself will commence at 2 p.m. The parade will feature more than 60 groups, including bagpipe players, step dancers and military re-enactors. Fire trucks, antique cars and police cars will also be part of the event, according to the Hiberians.
This year's Grand Marshall will be George Griffin, a village Trustee. Veronica Yates will be honored as Hibernian of the Year. The parade route will pass through Main Street and South Moger Avenue. Already, there are tell-tale signs of St. Patrick's Day up across the village, including several displays of the Irish flag and outward shades of green.
