Man Charged With Assault for Allegedly Punching an Officer
Nov. 16, 4:42 p.m., Carpenter Avenue
Police responded to a report of three males possibly selling drugs. When police arrived, one of those males allegedly fought, pushing and punching one of the officers. The man, a 22-year-old Chappaqua resident, was charged with 2nd-degree assault, a felony. He may face a drug charge although this hasn't been determined yet. It is not known what drug he is alleged to have been involved with.
Alleged Target Shoplifting
Nov. 17, 2:06 p.m., Preston Way
A 29-year-old Mount Kisco man was arrested for allegedly stealing two DVD's from Target. He was charged with petit larceny.
Man Accused of Trying to Break Into House
Nov. 18, 3:52 a.m., Carpenter Avenue
Police arrested a 20-year-old man for allegedly attempting to enter a house. He was charged with attempted burglary and resisting arrest.
Purdys Man Arrested on MTA Police Warrant
Nov. 18, 12:30 p.m., Green Street (Police Headquarters)
A 23-year-old Purdys man was arrested on a warrant from MTA police. Charges include attempted petit larceny and criminal trespass.
Woman Reports Wallet Items Stolen
Nov. 15, 7:55 p.m., Main Street
A woman reported that stuff was taken from her wallet, valued at roughly $500. Items included money, gift cards and checks.
Alleged Credit Card Fraud
Nov. 17, 8:42 a.m., North Bedford Road
A person is accused of making a fraudulent credit card purchase of $850 at Sam's Camera. The individual has not been charged as of this time.
