March is National Reading Month, so for this week’s Patch Picks we asked 5 local librarians to pick their favorite books.

Check out our list of the 8 most enjoyable reads, and then in honor of the 14th Annual Read Across America Day – which conveniently coincides with Dr. Suess’ Birthday on March 2 – we encourage you to stop into your library and grab one of our literary picks.

If Dr. Seuss' birthday isn’t motivation enough to pick up a book this month, then consider the Mount Kisco Library’s  invitation to join them for World Read Aloud Day next Wednesday March 9. World Read Aloud Day is the world-wide read-a-thon launched by Lit World, whose mission is to read 774 million minutes to represent the 774 million individuals worldwide who cannot read.

Adult Fiction Category
