Peekskill Man Accused of Stealing Chappaqua Credit Card, Charging $1K

New Castle police arrested a man who is accused of stealing a credit card and racking up $1,000 in purchases.
Luis Morocho, a 35-year-old Peekskill man, was arrested on Wednesday. He is alleged to have stolen th credit card from a Chappaqua home where he was working at, New Castle police said. He is accused of subsequently using that credit card in various stores located in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess counties, police said.
Morocho was charged with one count of identity theft and one count of grand larceny. He was arraigned on $25,000 bail in New Castle Justice Court and his next court date is Thursday, police said.
