On Sunday, The Rosenthal JCC of Northern Westchester in Pleasantville hosted an Israeli Marketplace and Chanukah Extravaganza.

The marketplace included original sculptures, paintings, jewelry, Roman glass and Eliat stone art from more than 45 Israeli artists.

The event also featured children's programs and activities, including music by Conroy Warren—also known as Calypso Conroy—who played Hanukkah music to a Calypso beat while the crowd danced the lindy.

Local author Laura Nadler-Scott read her book Achoo to a captive audience, while the Gift Factory offered crafts and stuffed animal making.

Israeli food was available, as well as an edible dreidel-making table in which a dreidel was created using a pretzel, marshmallow and chocolate kiss.

The event was sponsored by the Rosenthal JCC with Bet Torah, CSI, First Hebrew Congregation, Mt. Kisco Hebrew Congregation, NOW Israel, Pleasantville Community Synagogue, Temple Beth Am, Temple Beth El, Temple Beth Shalom, Temple Shaaray Teflia and the Yorktown Jewish Center.
