Santa on a Kisco Fire Truck; Frosty in Armonk

Notable items for Saturday and Sunday.

 

1. With the holiday season in full swing, Santa Claus will greet folks at Leonard Park in Mount Kisco, Saturday at 9:45 a.m., according to the Recreation Department. He will then head over to the American Legion hall by fire truck to give out presents. Sponsoring groups include the Mount Kisco Recreation Commission, the fire deparment, Lions Club, Rotary, Kiwanis, Mt. Kisco Service Organization and the local American Legion chapter.

2. Frosty the Snowman, who has roots in Armonk, will get a day-long celebration in his home community. The festivities will run for most of Saturday. Click here for the full schedule.

4. With winter coming, animals are heading into hibernation. Teatown Lake Reservation will let people meet some of these animals on Sunday at 1 p.m. Admission is $5. Click here for details.
