The races for fire commissioners in New Castle's two districts are quiet this year.

For New Castle Fire District No. 1, which oversees the Chappaqua Fire Department, incumbent Chris Weddle is running unopposed. For the Millwood Fire District, Angelo Indusi is also running for re-election without opposition.

For both districts, polls are open from 6-9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. The polling place for the New Castle district (Chappaqua FD) is at the firehouse on Route 117 and Route 120 in Chappaqua. For Millwood, the polling place is at firehouse No. 2, located at 366 Croton Dam Rd. (Ossining postal address).

Fire commissioners are elected to 5-year terms.
