Desires by Mikolay features a large selection of designer jewelry including a collection by the owner Scott Mikolay. The store also offers jewelery repair, free jewelry cleaning and "white glove" delivery on purchases over $250. Customers are treated to attentive service and offered coffee, tea or espresso while they browse the glittering merchandise.

Mikolay and his wife Tara recently celebrated five years in business. In those years, the shop has been honored with a "Best of Westchester" award by Westchester Magazine in 2005, 2006 and 2008. The Mikolays are very community-oriented and make an annual donation to the Pace Women's Justice Center on behalf of the shop. They also donate to various community charities and the World Wildlife Fund.
