DESCRIPTION:This exhibit features artists published in the past 26 years 
 in En Foco's Nueva Luz Photographic Journal. The exhibit will include ph
 otography by Max Aguilera-Hellweg\, Lola Flash\, Frank Gimpaya\, Bonnie 
 Portelance\, Justine Reyes\, and Jane Tam. &nbsp\;Since its premier in 1
 985\, Nueva Luz has published nearly 200 artists in 49 issues\, highligh
 ting the work of contemporary fine art and documentary photographers of 
 African\, Asian\, Latino\, and Native American heritage. &nbsp\;Through 
 En Foco's visual arts programs\, which includes the Nueva Luz photograph
 ic journal\, artists are free to explore or reinvent cultural traditions
 \, challenge preconceived notions\, and engage audiences in a manner tha
 t honors all. Located at Sarah Lawrence College's Heimbold Visual Arts C
 enter in the Barbara Walters Gallery. Opening recepetion on January 24 a
 t 5:30pm. Gallery hours: Monday through Friday 9am-5pm\, Saturday and Su
 nday 10am-4pm.
