Chappaqua Knowledge Cafe; School Board Meeting

1. Chappaqua Superintendent Lyn McKay will hold one of her Knowledge Cafes tonight, which will be at 7 p.m. at Robert E. Bell Middle School, the school district announced. The topic will be about "accountability mandates," such as Race to the Top, the APPR evaluation process and Common Core.

2. Bedford Central's school board meets tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Fox Lane Middle School's Little Theatre. Agenda items include follow-up items after recent voter approval of the roughly $31.8 million bond referendum, such as talk about a construction steering committee. The agenda is at this link.

3. Northern Westchester Hospital CEO and President Joel Seligman will be talking in Bedford at St. Matthew's Church, the hospital announced. The discussion will be about healthcare changes and the the impact locally. The event is 7:30 p.m. tonight.

4. The National Weather Service predicts that it will be sunny today, with a high temperature of 35 degrees in Bedford Hills and 37 degrees in Bedford and Katonah.
