Tonight: Bedford School Board to Interview Open Seat Candidates

1. At a special meeting tonight, the Bedford Central School District's Board of Education will interview three candidates vying for the open seat that was recently vacated by Lee Goldstein. The candidates are Bedford Corners resident Brian Sheerin, Mount Kisco resident Edward Reder and Pound Ridge resident Joe Malichio. The meet will ultimately decide who to appoint to the seat and the individual selected will serve until next May when board seats are up for elections. 2. The Chappaqua Library announced that it will host a kids' book discussion group this evening at 5 p.m.

3. The National Weather Service predicts that it will be sunny with a high temperature of 69 degrees.

4. Patch reported that state troopers are looking for witnesses in connection with a fatal crash on the Bear Mountain Parkway.
