2012 Light The Night Westchester Kick-off Event!

WHITE PLAINS, NY – Seven-year-old Sabrina Marciante of South Salem will be honored at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Light The Night Walk Kickoff Party on Wednesday, August 8^th from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at Grand Prix New York in Mt. Kisco. Sabrina is one of the 2012 Honored Patients for this year’s Westchester Light The Night Walk, which will take place on Saturday, November 3^rd at Playland Park in Rye. Barbara Marciante, Sabrina’s mother, will share how her daughter was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) in June 2011 and has been battling the disease ever since. Sabrina is currently in her second year of treatment and plans on returning to school this fall for third grade. LLS’s Light The Night Walk funds lifesaving research and support for people
battling cancer.
