Dr. Candida Segarra-Shaw, a Chappaqua resident and former Fox Lane High School math teacher, died on June 10, 2012, according to her obituary.
Segarra-Shaw, 48, taught math at Fox Lane from 1998 to 2004 and stepped down while battling Lou Gehrig’s disease, according to her obituary.
Pleasantvile's Beecher Funeral Home that that it will have a viewing on Tuesday, June 12, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Her funeral will take place on June 13, at 10 a.m., at the Church of St. John & St. Mary in Chappaqua, according to Beecher.
