BRICKZ 4 KIDZ® JOINS WORLD CUP U4KIDS

Chappaqua, New York, September 11, 2013 – BRICKZ 4 KIDZ® joins World Cup U4Kids after school program.

BRICKZ 4 KIDZ® is a program designed by teachers, architects and engineering professionals.  “It is a hands-on curriculum that introduces children ages 3-13+ to concepts of engineering, architecture and mechanics using LEGO® bricks, said Marj Santos, Managing Director for BRICKS 4 KIDZ®.  “Lessons from math, science, language arts and social studies are integrated along with themes such as transportation, space, inventions and machines, and robotics,” she added.

In the after-school program, students will design and construct machines, buildings and models using LEGO® bricks and proprietary designs and plans.  “We are excited to add BRICKZ 4 KIDZ® to World Cup’s after school program,” said Jeannine Johansen, Director of World Cup U4Kids.  “We are hoping that we not only attract boys to this class, but that the girls will join too.  It is a great way to get children excited about math and science in addition to building self esteem and learning problem solving skills and teamwork,” she added.
