Mount Kisco Child Care Center Announces Appointment of Four New Board Members

Mount Kisco, NY – (September 26, 2013) – Mount Kisco Child Care Center (MKCCC) today announced that four new members have been selected to serve on the organization’s Board of Directors. They were installed over the last few months and will complement the Center’s already outstanding board led by Board President, David Griff. The four new members join a thirteen-member board that oversees MKCCC’s finances, fundraising and strategic planning. The new board members are Dennis Gochuico, Katherine Loda, Kat McKee and Peter Schwarz.

Dennis Gochuico is a Software Architect for Westchester County. He holds an MBA from Pace University, Lubin School of Business as well as a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies from SUNY Buffalo. As an MKCCC parent, Mr. Gochuico is committed to ensuring the ongoing success of the Center and can share first-hand the tremendous positive impact MKCCC has on the lives of the children and families it serves.

Katherine Loda is a Senior Manager, specializing in International Tax Services, with Ernst & Young LLP in New York City.  She holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from Wellesley College, with a double major in Russian and Political Science. She is a member of the New York and American Bar Associations.  Ms. Loda is also a former MKCCC parent and brings a passion for the Center and a great understanding of the need for quality early care and education for working families.

Kat McKee is a Senior Project Manager at Co-Communications, Inc. in Mt Kisco, NY. Ms. McKee holds an MBA from Long Island University as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Rollins College. She has had a lengthy career in the media/communications business, specializing in marketing, strategic planning and client advocacy, often with a non-profit focus.  Ms. McKee has volunteered extensively for the Center and her enthusiasm in promoting its longevity is unmatched.

Peter Schwarz is a founding member of Integral Derivatives, LLC, an equity options and index options specialist firm. Mr. Schwarz has also been a member of the New York Stock Exchange Amex board since 2010.  Mr. Schwarz attended Susquehanna University, receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. In deepening his relationship with the Center, he recognizes the importance of giving back to his community with an organization that truly makes a difference in the life of a child and family.

The Center works hard to promote its core mission of providing high quality and affordable child care and early education to a diverse group of children in safe, healthy and developmentally appropriate programs.
