Touchdown! WCA Scores 2014 NY/NJ Super Bowl Committee Powerhouse Alfred F. Kelly, Jr., as Keynote Speaker at WCA Fall Leadership Dinner November 14

A Real Coup as Super Bowl Fever Rises in Metro New York, Where the  Nation’s Most Celebrated Championship Game Is Expected to Pump Over $500 Million into the Regional Economy

New Yorkers may be in a Super Bowl frenzy, but Westchester’s just over the moon that the President & CEO of the Super Bowl’s Host Committee – Alfred F. Kelly, Jr. – a Westchester resident and a business superstar, has accepted the Westchester County Association’s invitation to speak at its Annual Fall Leadership Dinner on Thursday, November 14 at the Hilton Westchester in Rye Town. “Having Al as our featured speaker is a great lead up to the biggest event in metro New York in 2014,” said Bill Mooney, WCA’s president.

With his team, Kelly is overseeing all host activities leading up to Super Bowl XLVIII, history’s first outdoor, cold-weather Super Bowl, which will be held on February 2, 2014, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., home stadium of both the Giants and Jets. The game is projected to pump over $500 million into the regional economy.  Kelly, 54, was appointed to the NY/NJ Super Bowl Host Committee in April 2011, after a distinguished business career, the last 23 years of which were spent at the American Express Company.  Most recently, he was President of the financial services giant from 2007 to 2010, leading the global consumer businesses, worldwide servicing, and enterprise wide risk management.

Before October 1 tickets are:  $275 (members); $325 (non-members); After October 1: $295 (members); $350 (non-members) For more information and to register, visit westchester.org.
