'Ability Gardens' in Mount Kisco

A series of flowers and vegetables are coming along in two elevated stone planters near the Mount Kisco Public Library.

The plantings are part of the Ability Gardens, a sign notes. The project is a joint one with gardener from the group Ability Beyond Disability and the Hopp Ground Garden Club of Bedford. The project is sponsored by the library's foundation.

Several flowers are in bloom while green tomatoes are developing.
