Bobcat Sighting Reported in Chappaqua

While coyotes have been a big item for wild animal sightings this year, another creature has been reported in a Chappaqua yard: a bobcat. Marilyn Simes told Patch that she saw a bobcat on High Way, which is in the Lawrence Farms South neighborhood. Simes wrote, "I would say that the cat weighed between 65-80lbs give or take. I do not know much about the behavior of these cats but I would be very cautious about allowing small children out in the backyard to play unsupervised or small pets."
