Saturday: Bake Sale at Aurora for March of Dimes

A bake sale is being held at Aurora in downtown Chappaqua to support the March of Dimes.

(Editor's Note: Below is a republishing of this message from Susan Barjak, a mom who is involved with the event, which is being held at Aurora)

My 9 year old twins, Evan and Eloise were born 13 weeks premature and spent the first 3 months of their lives in the NICU at Northern Westchester Hospital. We are so fortunate that today, you could never tell to look at them that they started out as 2lb preemies. We are "Walking for Babies" later this month and with this year being the 75th Anniversary of the March of Dimes, Evan and Eloise (as Ambassador Kids) wanted to do something more to help to raise funds.

We are going to hold a Bake Sale in Chappaqua - tomorrow, April 13th from 2-30pm onwards (probably till about 5pm) in front of AURORA on lower King Street. We would really appreciate if you could come along and support us with a donation in exchange for some delicious baked goods.

Thank-you for your support of March of Dimes, we are so grateful for with our precious children and we work hard each year in the hope that other families will have the happy outcome that we did.
