New Westchester Symphony Orchestra at the Chappaqua Library

The New Westchester Symphony Orchestra (NewWSO) will perform works by Mozart, Strauss, Bizet, Porter, Mahler, Elgar, and Berlin at a free concert at the Chappaqua Library. Conducted by Benjamin Niemczyk, the NewWSO is an audition-free ensemble composed of Westchester musicians of all ages and skill levels. Most members have recently returned to the instruments of their youth after pursuing family and/or careers. Some are learning new instruments as adults. All have a passion for making music in community and are so happy to have this opportunity to play in a supportive and fun environment.

Membership in the NewWSO is open to the general public. No auditions, just come to a rehearsal to see if this might be the place for you to start making music again.  Visit http://www.newsymphony.org for complete information about repertoire, upcoming performances, rehearsals, and more. Or, contact Belinda at 914-260-1811.
