Ossining's Mark Sadan Featured in 'Grace in Motion: Dance Photography'

ArtsWestchester’s upcoming exhibition, Grace in Motion: Dance Photography, features the elegant work of Ossining’s Mark Sadan.

Mark Sadan started out as a filmmaker with screenings at MoMA, a full scholarship to film school, and projects ranging from films on Sesame Street to directing a documentary. "After directing a documentary in Norway, Mark was invited to exhibit at the Preus Foto Museum, and at this time made a decision to devote himself to photography," his bio states.

We're glad he did. His photos, which have made their way around the world, both in print and collected privately and publicly, embody the 'Grace in Motion' theme.

Sadan is among five renowned photographers to be featured in Grace In Motion, an exhibition, from the press materials, "that manages to do the impossible –capture the dynamism of the human body in motion through the camera’s lens, transforming the elusive quality of dance into enduring images of grace and beauty."
