Keenan House Seeks a Buyer

This morning, Keenan House co-owner Jessica Vescio issued the following release, offering only "personal reasons" behind their thriving new business's abrupt close and announcing the venue is actively seeking a new owner.

"We love this community and are tremendously grateful for the strong support they have shown us," Vescio told Patch. "Additionally we care deeply for our former staff, and wish them only the best."

Keenan House | Kitchen & Tap Room
Keenan House Kitchen & Tap Room announced it was closed, effective immediately. The former business is now available for sale.
Opened earlier this year, Keenan House Kitchen & Tap Room was an American gastro pub with an extensive beer selection. Despite numerous favorable reviews and strong community support, the owners closed the doors for personal reasons. As long-time local residents, they were glad to have created a much needed fresh and inviting destination in downtown Ossining. They have no doubt that their renovations to the historic Keenan building will soon be home to a new equally
appealing hotspot.
As Ossining continues to gain momentum as an up and coming river-town, local residents are optimistic that a new restaurateur will reopen the doors of Keenan House quickly. For more information email info@thekeenanhouse.com or check for updates on Facebook.

I certainly hope someone re-opens it quick. It had become our go-to spot -- and from the dinner crowds, I could tell we weren't the only ones.
