Mt. Kisco Holiday Inn's New Owner Plans Major Renovation

Roedel Companies, the new owner of Mount Kisco's Holiday Inn, announced that it will undergo a major renovation, a multi-million change, starting next year.

The Wilton, NH company stated that the renovation will include the building's corridors, lobby, banquet and meeting rooms. The work is expected to start in the first quarter of 2014.

David Roedel, a partner in the company, said in a press release that, “By updating the public areas, and repositioning and rebranding the restaurant, our customers will be able to enjoy all aspects of the hotel from check-in to check-out.”

The 122-room hotel was purchased recently by the company. The deal was worth $8.5 million and was bought from Kisco Motel Associates, a Florida-based company, according to HK Group, a Wesport, CT broker involved in the transaction.

Mount Kisco Mayor Michael Cindrich addressed the change of ownership at Monday's Village Board of Trustees meeting, stating he is "proud" they are investing in the community.

The local hotel is at 1 Holiday Inn Drive, near Kisco Avenue and the Saw Mill River Parkway.
