O and R should be ashamed of a dismal effort to restore power to business and residential customers who have endured pro longed outages many times over the past several years. They have had many opportunities to upgrade and improve systems to avert and compensate the power grid. Hang in folks.

No power in Nanuet and no assessment by O and R yet either, likely to be several more days. Can not even get State Farm to assess the holes in my roof so I can get it fixed.

I really enjoyed driving past the new Orangetown soccer fields all lit up like daytime at 11pm just to go home to a dark cold house. O&R you do know where you can stick that dry ice right?

I live on 9W in Upper Grandview and we got our electric back Sunday evening. We were told ours was on because everyone south of us had power and homes north did also. We tracked down one of the repairmen and he came down 9W to my house and it turned out a wire from the transformer wasn't connected. He old us that if we hadn't come to get him you would have been without electric for alongtime. So I would look for one of the repairmen and ask him if your address should have power. If you should get him to come down and check the pole near you.
