Andy's Pure Food will open this coming Tuesday at the Mount Kisco site, owner Andy Ozgur confirmed.

The storefront, on 41 S. Moger Ave. and along a walkway to Shopper's Park, will be the small chain's first location in northern Westchester County. Ozgur said he has three existing spots in southern Westchester, in Rye, Larchmont and Scarsdale.

The vegan space will include mostly raw food, with some cooked and steamed vegetables, Ozgur said.

“A 100-percent vegan.”

The place will have juice, a salad bar and wraps, he said. Sourcing of ingredients is done near by, at Larchmont's farmers' market.

Ozgur said that he signed the lease for the space at the end of June.

The decision to open in Mount Kisco was based on customer demand. Ozgur explained that he has existing patrons from northern Westchester, including Mount Kisco.

The storefront is a spot in transition. While window signage for the new store is up, the old Connie's awning is still in place. A look inside shows that he kept existing furnishings from Connie's, which means a familiar interior.
