The Upstream Gallery Returns to Hastings-on Hudson; Currently Hosts Annual Photograph Show

Upstream Gallery, celebrating 23 years in the Rivertowns, had a soft opening on February 2, 2014 for its new location in Hastings-on-Hudson. A more formal opening is in the planning stage.

The gallery leaves Dobbs Ferry to occupy larger quarters. It was located in Hastings-on-Hudson once before. When originally conceived by a group of mostly local artists, it had rented space in Hastings-on-Hudson.

A juried annual photography show, now in progess, will continue until February 23. Coming next will be an exhibition of the work of Eleanor Goldstein (New Visions) and Jo Zalon Meer (Not Out of the Woods Yet) to be on display from February 27 to March 23, 2014. An opening reception for Goldstein and Zalon Meer is scheduled for March 2 from 2 to 5 p.m.

The work of many Upstream Gallery artists is included in an exhibition now running at the Municipal Hall in Hastings-on-Hudson at 7 Maple Avenue which ends on Match 22, 2014.

The 2014 event schedule at Upstream Gallery for artist shows remains this same.

The gallery is open on Thursdays through Sundays from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. Beginning on July 6 and ending after the Labor Day weekend, the hours of operation will change to 3 to 8 p.m. on Fridays and 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.
