Chappaqua School Board Meeting Cancelled [UPDATE]

The school board meeting was one of several local items for Wednesday.

Update:

Tonight's school board meeting has been cancelled and will be rescheduled, the district announced. With snow, the district has already made the decision to cancel classes.

1. Chappaqua's Board of Education will meet tonight for its first regular gathering of 2013. The school board's agenda will be busy, as it includes a budget talk for the 2013-14 school year. It will also include a safety update from Superintendent Lyn McKay. The meeting starts tonght at 8:15 p.m., in the commons at Horace Greeley High School. Click here for details.

2. The League of Women Voters of New Castle will hold a discussion tonight about the societal impact of rising sea levels and Hurricane Sandy. The talk starts at 7 p.m. at the Chappaqua Library. Click here for details.
