Chappaqua School Foundation's Night for Moms

New Castle Town Board work session, which will include post-Sandy planning, is also among Tuesday's notable items.

1. The Chappaqua School Foundation, which provides non-profit grants to fund amenities for Chappaqua schools not covered in the district's budget, will hold a night out for moms, tonight at the Chappaqua Library's auditorium at 7 p.m. The night features comedians Sherry Davey and Johnny Lampert. 2. Meanwhile, the New Castle Town Board meets tonight for a work session, 7:45 p.m. at town hall in Chappaqua. Agenda items include further discussion for how the town can re-tool for future versions of Hurricane Sandy. Click here to access the agenda and its packet.

3. Mount Kisco's Village Board of Trustees meets tonight, 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall. Agenda items include talk of whether to use the Nixle emergency alert system and approval votes for new contracts with the village's fire companies. Click here for the agenda.

4. Chappaqua schools Superintendent Lyn McKay will hold one of her coffee and conversation gatherings, today at 9:30 a.m. in the Bell Middle School auditorium. Click here for details.
