Police also report that all roads are open.

New Castle Police say that Wednesday's nor'easter did not bring new outages to town, according to a Nixle alert posted Thursday morning.

Police also said that all roads in town are open. On Wednesday evening, police announced that Route 133 closed due to low-hanging wires and Meeting House closed due to a transformer problem.

Thousands of New Castle customers, 11 days after Hurricane Sandy slammed the region, are still without power. As of 11:02 a.m. Thursday, the number of Con Edision customers out stands at 3,260, according to the utility's outage map.
