Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino recently took aim at the impressive benefits enjoyed by county workers, saying the situation was inherited and unsustainable.
In addition to free medical, dental and vision coverage without co-pays, Astorino told the Albany radio station Talk 1300 that Westchester County workers are the highest paid in the state at $78,633 per year.
