[UPDATE] Sandy: Over 5k Without Power in New Castle, 900 in Mt. Kisco

Outages remain stubbornly high three days after Hurricane Sandy hits.

Con Edison's numbers now stand at 5,113 customers for New Castle and 953 for Mount Kisco. The data is from 7:04 p.m. Thursday.

Thousands of customers in New Castle and Mount Kisco remain without power roughly three days after Hurricane Sandy devastated the region.

As of 11:51 a.m. Thursday, the number of New Castle customers out stands at 5,087 (out of 6,574 total). In Mount Kisco, the number stands at 1,015 out of 5,075. No estimated full restoration time for either community is given.
