School Starts in Chappaqua; Kisco Fracking Protest

2. Tonight, a group of citizens and clergy plans will hold a second vigil protest against the hydraulic fracturing practice (or "fracking") of natural gas upstate. The group is calling on Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who lives in New Castle, to support banning it. The vigil will be this evening in Mount Kisco, 6 p.m. at The group held its first event

3. New Castle's Architectural Review Board meets tonight at 8 p.m. at in Chappaqua. Notable on the agenda is discussion for the Upper Westchester Muslim Society's proposed West End mosque. Click here for the agenda.
