Several Vendors Set for Millwood's 'Tails to Trails'

The first-annual "Tails to Trails" event in downtown Millwood, which will include a pet fair in front of Millwood Animal Hospital and animals up for adoption from the group Pets Alive, will have several local businesses participating.

The Chappaqua-Millwood Chamber of Commerce, which is organizing the event, announced the list of vendors this week. They will include Matero Fine Jewelry & Design selling raffle tickets for a diamond paw print necklace, photographer Carolyn Simpson taking pet portraits, a mobile groomer from Splash & Dash with a truck on display and dog trainer Peter Lynn offering advice. PetsaGoGo will have organic, homemade frozen yogurts.

Several vendors will be encouraging donations to Pets Alive, while Matero's jewelry sales will support the group.

Meanwhile, Millwood pharmacy Drug Mart will have several items for the public in its parking lot at 230 Saw Mill River Road, including an inflatable, a firetruck and an ambulance. The chamber will also have its own tent.

Tails to Trails, which will also utilize the nearby North County Trailway, will be held on Sunday, May 19, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It is the first major event in downtown Millwood that the chamber, which was founded nearly a year ago, is supporting.
