Showcasing Your Photos and Videos on Patch

A video tutorial on how to contribute on Patch.com

Submitting videos and photos to Patch has never been easier with the help of this step-by-step video tutorial.

Please note that if you have a very large file, such as a video longer than 60 seconds, the system will require more time to process it.

Feel free to e-mail your Patch's local editor with any questions or to just let them know of your contribution.

I hope that Patch will also post photos of other "sports," such as bicycle commuting and walking to school (as in Safe Routes to School promoted by the Town of Bedford) hiking, backpacking, cross country skiing, paddling, bouldering or rock climbing at the local climbing gym or outdoors, and other "sports"!

Hi Don, thanks for your comment! Absolutely - we welcome any photo submissions, sports or otherwise. We've got a handy new button right in the middle of the home page now that says "What's up with you? Post pics and clips" and any Patch reader can post a photo of an event, news item or any photo of community interest. In addition, readers can add photos to our daily sports roundup. We would love to see everything from Pee-Wee leagues to Varsity sports, from town recreation to cycling clubs. Thanks and feel free to contact me at 319-9044 for more information.

Thanks for posting this - sounds cool. What kind of projects will kids do? Also, can an incoming 6thRead More grader participate?
It's About Time June 6, 2013 at 01:45 pm
Hi Lisa! Thanks for your questions. In this unit (Vehicles In Motion) the kids will build CoasterRead More Cars and test different aspects of the motion of their vehicles such as: distance traveled, acceleration, straightness, and friction. This unit emphasizes student collaboration in order to develop a set of performance test procedures for measuring Coaster Car performance. An incoming sixth grader can definitely join! Feel free to call the number above - my co-worker will be happy to help you.
