A major snowstorm that has been forecasted to hit New Castle and Mount Kisco has led to cancellations of several events. They include:
- Pets Alive's pet adoption days on Saturday and Sunday at the former Purple Passage site in Mount Kisco. Daniele Chuchill - her store, Churchills of Mount Kisco, is backing the event - said it has been postponed to next weekend.
- Friday programs at the Chappaqua Library.
- Classes in the Bedford Central School District, along with after-school activities and out-of-district transportation.
- Screenwriter Mark Bombeck's visit to the Chappaqua Library was postponed for an unknown future date.
- Chappaqua Farmers Market on Saturday
