TONIGHT: Mount Kisco's Tree Lighting

Notable Friday items include tree lighting near Village Hall, along with wreath sale from Chappaqua Garden Club.

1. Tonight, Mount Kisco will hold its annual Christmas tree lighting. The Mount Kisco Chamber of Commerce, which sponsors the event, announced that it will start at 6 p.m., in front of Village Hall, with caroling to go along with the tree. After the lighting, folks are invited to the American Legion Hall for cocoa, cookies and Santa Claus. 

2. The Chappaqua Garden Club is having a wreath sale today and tomorrow, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Click here for details. 

3. Today is the last day in which Mount Kisco Elementary School is accepting school supplies to donate to those harmed by Hurricane Sandy. Click here for details.

4. The Chappaqua Library is hosting origami making with Hitomi Kihara. The event, geared towards teens, starts at 3:30 p.m. Click here for details.
