Please join us for our Ninth Annual Antiques Lecture & Appraisal Series on Tuesdays, January 8,15, and 22nd from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Chappaqua Library.


January 8 - Dan Levitz of Things Japanese gallery specializes in Japanese woodblock prints from 18 & 20th centuries and art and antiques.


January 15 - Elaine Klausman of Vintage with a Twist is a vintage clothing dealer specializing in the 60's & 70's.


January 22 -  Mike & MaryLynn McRee antique carpet experts  of Caravan Connection specialise in the finest handmade oriental rugs.


After each lecture audience members can have 2 related items to the lecture verbally appraised. Sponsored by the New Castle Historical Society & Chappaqua Library.

Hi Lisa! Thanks for your questions. In this unit (Vehicles In Motion) the kids will build CoasterRead More Cars and test different aspects of the motion of their vehicles such as: distance traveled, acceleration, straightness, and friction. This unit emphasizes student collaboration in order to develop a set of performance test procedures for measuring Coaster Car performance. An incoming sixth grader can definitely join!
