Tracey O' Shaughnessy , a favorite author and regional columnist, will be giving a lecture and book signing at Blue Horse Arts and JFoster Music Studios on Saturday, December 8th at 1pm. Her book "Every Little Thing" is a collection of handpicked essays, many from her widely admired weekly column featured in the Waterbury Republican American.

Tracey will also be talking about her experiences as a writer covering art for the last 15 years and why she believes newspapers perform an important function shaping our understanding and appreciation of art.

The artwork of Danielle Mailer, one of the many Connecticut artists Tracey has interviewed and featured in her newspaper column,   graces on the cover of the book.  Not only is Tracey a gifted writer but a exceptional speaker who can convey a story with warmth and an engagingly wry sense of humor.

In conjunction with the author's lecture and book signing there will be an exhibition of drawings by artists Caroline Harman  of Newtown and Marc Chabot of Southbury,CT.

The  lecture and reception will be held at  Blue Horse Arts and JFoster Music Studios located at 250 Porter Street, Watertown, CT. The event is free and open to the public. Any relation to Brian O’Shaughnessy, Chairman of Revere Copper Products, the oldest remaining manufacturing company in the United States, founded by Paul Revere in 1801?
