2013—Chappaqua, NY…Gary Goodman, a local virtuoso on the piano, is proud to

offer Westchester families a benefit concert on Sunday, October 6 at The Church

of St. Mary The Virgin in Chappaqua from 2-4 pm.  The Church is located at 191 South Greeley

Avenue in Chappaqua.  The Church will be

accepting $ 10.00 donations at the concert to benefit the Ossining Food Pantry.

 Mr.

Goodman’s featured work for this mini symphony  is  the

famous "Appassionata, opus 57 in f minor". This is the fourth concert

in the series "Complete Sonatas of Ludwig van Beethoven."





 A

resident of Briarcliff Manor, Mr. Goodman earned his Masters of Music at

Juilliard under Mr. Josef Raieff.  Mr.

Goodman's performance experience ranges from playing numerous concerto

engagements in his native Southern California to solo performances at Alice

Tully Hall, and at Weill Recital Hall; From a performance in Sao Paulo, Brazil

to a broadcasted recital in Washington D.C. at the prestigious Phillips

Collection Series.

Locally,

Gary continues to teach private and group lessons and is a member of the

Westchester Musicians Guild.  Besides

performing benefits for The Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Mr. Goodman has also

performed benefits for Midnight Run as well as The St. Theresa School in

Briarcliff.   He has also performed at

The Emelin Theater.
