DURING THE 1700’s  MOUNT KISCO WAS A ‘SMALL SETTLEMENT IN THE WOODS'. BY THE LATTER PART OF THE 1800'S IT HAD BECOME A VIBRANT CULTURAL AND COMMERCIAL CENTER

- Learn about the early establishment of the  ‘small settlement in the woods’

-  The ‘Iron Horse' gallops to Mount Kisco in 1847 changing the town forever 

- We’ll  take a virtual historical location and photo tour of  early Mount Kisco
 
-  After the talk at the library we’ll take a stroll through downtown Mount Kisco of the 1800's
 
 - We’ll have plenty of historical photos to help make the past come alive
