The Great Backyard Bird Count is an annual four-day event that encourages all bird watchers to get involve in bird research. This event is open to beginners to advanced bird watchers. Join a Westmoreland Sanctuary staff member at our bird observation window as we count the species visiting. Come for fifteen minutes or stay for the hour, but enjoy the birds from our observation window. All ages welcome. This program is free, but a donation towards bird seed is always welcome.
