Karate Kid Earns Martial Arts Belt In Kickboxing For Fitness Armonk NY

Anything is possible. Always remember that. With hard work and discipline you can accomplished anything you desire. This is demonstrated in martial arts better than any where else. The challenges we go through in kickboxing and jiu-jitsu prepare us for any kind of challenge life will throw at you. Along with the fitness value that is obvious, there are many benefits that are not so easily seen. Angela is a great example of this.

“Martial arts does so much for us. It can help bring the best out of a person. Help them to find a sense of purpose and individuality that helps us find ourselves. We must all create our own path and have the courage to follow it to the end.”

Being the youngest sibling in a family of four isn’t easy. Even more so when you are following in the foot steps of one of them. Angela’s sister Jasmine is a black belt in my school. She assists in most classes and is a true leader. Living in that huge shadow can be very intimidating. Angela uses this the way martial artists use any challenge they face. She uses it to make her stronger. Instead of allowing that shadow to cover her she works to get out from underneath it everyday. She is determined to blaze her own path and create her own legacy. She surely has the talents and drive to just that.

In grappling class I see her with a new resolve to improve. She is hitting moves she has not hit before and putting in effort at a pace that is intense. In kickboxing she is moving forward more and not just smiling and having fun. She is working her butt off and doing an amazing job. I’m very proud of her and can’t wait to see what is up next on this ride for her.
