Martial Arts Instructor Helps Karate Kids Beat Bullying Westchester NY

Martial Arts Instructor Helps Karate Kids Beat Bullying. The Only Way To Stop Bullies Is To Stand Up For Yourself. A Bully Will Back Down When Confronted But You Must Have Real Self Defense To Have Real Confidence In Westchester NY.

Bullying has become a world wide issue. Kids every day are afraid of being bullied in school, on the bus or at the playground. They often will hide this from their parents or teachers because they feel ashamed and embarrassed. It can get so bad that young children think suicide is the only way to make the pain stop. As a kickboxing instructor I feel it to be my responsibility to inform everyone that there is another way. You don’t have to live in constant fear and anguish.

“Only the victim can stop a bully. Not the teachers or administrators. Not the parents of friends. Only the victim. To do this they must be prepared and empowered by real self defense. This gives them the confidence and tools to stand up to bullies.”

Training in martial arts does so much for you in preparation of combating bullies. First things first, you learn how to defend yourself. I’d say 99% of people that bully do not know martial arts. If they did they would find no need to do it in the first place. Martial arts kids are the toughest kids on the planet. My kids are going to tournaments competing at high levels. They kickbox and do jiu-jitsu. What could a bully offer them that they haven’t seen in training? It’s ok. I’ll wait while you search for an answer. That’s right the answer is nothing. They have nothing to fear in a fight with a bully.

This real life self defense gives them the confidence to stand up for themselves. They know that if push comes to shove that they can protect themselves. When the fear of getting hurt is gone, it frees them up to use their best weapon at all and that is their brain. The ability to defuse the situation will settle it before it gets violent. Not to mention the fact that most bullies will stay away from anyone they perceive to be strong enough to fight back. A bully is weak and will seek out the weakest, easiest targets they can find. Martial arts kids are not weak.

Bullying is a serious problem. So many kids and parents search for answers in a desperate attempt to fight back. It’s frustrating to me because the answer is so clear and so easy. Put your kid in martial arts and pretty soon the problem solves itself. So many parents fear that teaching a kid to fight will only lead him to fight. Martial arts is so much more than fighting. The tools and qualities gained in training will prepare them for life and life is tough. The challenges they face and overcome will give the self confidence and even more important a respect for what hard work gets you. Don’t wait any longer. Get them into training now.
