It is important to remember to set goals when you workout. Without something specific to focus on, you are less likely to work hard. The goal can be anything: an amount of weight to lose, mastery of a particular exercise, or even just being able to run for a certain amount of time without walking. Also, what you set out to do should be legitimate. Attila the Hun once said, "Superficial goals lead to superficial results."
