New, Smaller iPad Announced by Apple [POLL]

The latest from Apple scales down the popular iPad 2.

It wasn't unexpected, but Apple announced Tuesday the new iPad mini.

According to Engadget.com, the new device will have the same resolution as its big brother and the same apps will work without resizing.

Pre-orders for the WiFi version begin Friday and shipping will start in early November.
