The costumes are ready, the candy is set out and, in a number of districts across the area, the kids are home from school. But with the conditions outside, will trick or treating still be on the agenda for tonight?
Your kids might shout a resounding, “Yes,” but local officials are advising to either postpone the activity or exercise caution. In , the school district notified families to recommend staying in on Monday night on account of the storm's effects.
And Greenburgh town supervisor Paul Feiner , “According to [Greenburgh Police] Chief Joseph DeCarlo, the most prudent action is not to go out (unless it is to an apartment complex).” He continued, “Parents should be out with their kids tonight if they insist on going out—regardless of their age.”
